Welcome to my little corner of the internet.
I am so glad you’re here.
My name is Kathy 鸿飞 (Hong Fei).
I am a healer based in stolen Coast Salish land. My life purpose is to help people connect more deeply with themselves through inner healing work and creativity.
My Background
I am a neurodivergent (ADHD with mild Autism and OCD), first generation Chinese American, who was raised by a single mother. Growing up, I was taught the value of hard work and held a high responsibility to fulfill the expectations placed on me.
I spent most of my professional career climbing the corporate ladder, having been laid off twice, pivoting industries three times, and continuously losing and finding myself again throughout this process. I am deeply familiar with the impacts of our patriarchal, oppressive capitalist system: the constant masking, people-pleasing, burnout, anxiety, depression, survivalist mentality, and the pervasive belief that our value and worth are tied to our jobs.
It is through my lived experience that I hold the belief that it is all of the parts of us that make us whole. In a reality that is that constantly forcing us to consume and conform, it is important to celebrate our individuality and cultivate community.

My Approach
As I am a product marketer by trade, I have a keen sense for pattern recognition (thank you, neurodivergent brain). In my work, I gather information, identify core strengths, and be able to clearly articulate the value– skills that translate seamlessly into supporting an individual’s life journey and goals. In all of the work that I do, I help people understand and connect with themselves.
My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) based models, somatic and trauma-informed practices, and holistic tools bridging mind, body, & spirit. While acknowledging the very real constraints of the systems we live within, I take a realistic yet decolonized approach to supporting your sense of purpose and direction.
I don’t believe you need “fixing” or “therapizing.” You have everything within you to create the reality you want. Alignment means following your truest form, not suppressing it.
I am influenced by, educated from, and guided from the teachings of many before me, including:
•Buddhism
•Thit Nhat Hanh
•Reiki Level 1
• Traditional Chinese Medicine & Qigong
• Carl Jung
•Wisdom of the Whole coaching program
•Yung Pueblo
•Radical Healership
•Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Kimmerer
•Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear – Elizabeth Gilbert
•What my Bones Know – Stephanie Foo
My manifesto & musings
I come from a lineage where survival meant to play small and conform, or risk of your life. I carry these ancestral wounds with me in everything I do, and it carries weight as I look to figuring out how I can help shape a better future. Courage also runs in my bones, having
I believe that in order to create a better future for us, we need to cater to our strengths. Maybe you’re a builder, a creator, a healer, etc. We need to practice joy. We are all creators. I envision a future where we are
Joy is resistance. I believe that creating a better future starts small. The future I envision is filled with individual people who love themselves so much they have enough love for each other.
